Depending on the model, it is either supported by four lead screws, used in models 40600H, 40700H & 40800H, or by a dual-lead-screw and four-guide-post system in model 40200H. Both designs, paired with infeed and outfeed rollers plus snipe minimizers or a snipe-lock system, maintain cutterhead stability and prevent uneven cuts at the start or end of each board.

The large handwheel and depth-of-cut indicator make it simple to set precise thicknesses. A repeat cut depth stop allows you to produce multiple boards at the same thickness without repeated measuring.
